TEACHING AND TRAINING

A strong teaching section (including books, audio and seminars) has brought biblical teaching to many nations. Governments have been impacted. A video series on business start-up has gone out to a potential audience of 200 million people in China.

ICCC has a call to mentoring the next generation in the marketplace and is developing links with Universities and Colleges as well as those already in the workplace.

This domain has the responsibility of expounding on and rightly dividing God's Word, as it relates to Kingdom principles for operating within the marketplace.

Christian business people must work to the highest ethical standards. Ethics alone are, however, only a small part of the gospel message and ICCC is intent on operating from the stance of Kingdom principles and of continually demonstrating the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not serve Him.

This domain also pursues the goal of imparting the truth of discipling nations and serves to gather and develop solid teaching material pertinent to the ICCC call - including the Transformed Working Life (TWL) series.

TRANSFORMED WORKING LIFE (TWL) TEACHING COURSE

Transformed Working Life (TWL) is a Bible based training programme designed to equip Christians for this walk of faith at work. Fundamental to Transformed Working Life is the belief that the call to marketplace employment is just as much a call of God as is the call to pastor a church.

PROPHETIC

ICCC is a prophetic body, recognising its part within the worldwide Church declaring in word and action the Kingdom of God in the marketplace. ICCC strongly urges the business community to read the signs of the times and to place their faith in Jesus Christ for today and for the turbulent times ahead.

FARMERS

ICCC is active in sectors of business which have special needs such as the Farming and Agriculture community. Sweden leads the way in having a Farming Sub-Chamber. The first international farming conference was held in July 1999 in Poland.

UNITY & NETWORKING

ICCC in the UK and Ireland has a regional framework with local groups who pray and plan together. ICCC encourages regional groups to link with City Networks, congregations and other ministries in the Body of Christ, particularly other marketplace ministries.

INTERCESSION

The ICCC UK intercession domain is committed to pray for the nation, for ICCC - international, national and regional - and for Israel. It is committed to:
- prayer and intercession
- to stand in the gap
- to be available
- to encourage and support one another, overflowing into the wider body of Christ
- to preserve the cutting edge and the prophetic vision of the ICCC

GOVERNANCE/ADMINISRATION

Aims to equip ICCC members, and it's leaders, to serve as effectively as possible, to maintain necessary order, maintain direction, and to release others into their particular calling. This includes legal and tax matters where they arise. It should keep it's rightful place, neither controlling nor being dismissed as unspiritual or unimportant. The UK National Office is part of this provision.

MICRO ENTERPRISE

Essentially a support to members seeking to help the poor & needy (Isaiah 58), and particularly where this involves starting or developing businesses amongst those whose small-scale needs are not served by the normal commercial sector, while aiming to infuse God's presence through the ICCC into the business community. It aims to help the poorest to achieve financial self-sufficiency through micro-business, and will sometimes provide micro-credit to help achieve this aim. A prototype programme is being operated in Sri Lanka, and it is then expected to begin operating in other ICCC-member countries.

NEXT GENERATION

By the time most people are into their mid-twenties they have already been saturated with a world-mindset that largely dismisses the concept that there is a God who wants to be involved in the detail of our day to day lives, including our work. As a result, when people recognise that there is a God-given calling to the workplace, they realise that there is a large renewing of the mind which needs to take place.

ICCC's Next Generation programme reaches the 16 to 25 year olds while they are still in their formative educational years - to release them into manifesting outwardly their inner walk of faith earlier rather than later in their careers..

RESOLVE

A Christian mediation and arbitration service to encourage and assist Christians to respond to conflict in a biblical manner. Its primary purpose is to provide an advice and mediation service to help resolve disputes whether arising in business, church or family and to reconcile the parties involved. It seeks to serve all Christians regardless of denomination wherever disputes cannot be resolved through the local church or individuals known to the parties.
